Ramesh Babu to co-produce Mahesh-Srinu Vytla’s film

Mahesh Babu’s new film in Srinu Vytla’s direction is duo’s first film together. Achanta Gopichand, Anil Sunkara and Achanta Ram are jointly producing this film under ‘14 Reels Entertainments Pvt Ltd’ banner. G. Ramesh Babu, brother of Mahesh Babu, is set to co-produce the film. He had produced ‘Arjun’ and ‘Athidhi’ in the past. Recently, Samantha had been roped in as the lead actress opposite Mahesh Babu. 123telugu.com had earlier reported that Srinu Vytla is working on his script to enrich its production values. Srinu Vytla is planning to shoot this film with a Super35mm camera for the first time in his career. Mahesh is currently shooting for Trivikram’s film. Anushka is playing the female lead and the film produced by Singanamala Ramesh under Kanaka Ratna Movies banner. And Samantha is acting in Jr.NTR’s ‘Brindavanam’

Would you love your favourite hero roam around Hussain Sagar lake or the Marina Beach gardens of Chennai? Your answer is surely in favour of a Hyderad location and certainly not for a Chennai studio. But that’s what is happening to Mahesh Babu’s next film being directed by Trivikrama Srinivas, thanks to the Telangana stir and the attacks on film crew shooting in Telangana regions.

The film is now shooting in Chennai. The unit has rebuilt a set for this film at Chennai. Film fans would remember that a set made for this film was vandalized at Vikarabad near Hyderabad by Telangana activists. The loss is estimated to be around Rs 1 crore 70 lakh to film-makers. The producers seem to be taking no more chances and hence shifted the location to Chennai.

I had been doing films to satisfy the taste of audiences. I have a personal taste and I never got any opportunity to a film that I would really love to make. The action parts in my previous films are appreciated by movie lovers. Not many people know that I get highly tensed while directing comedy scenes and I am extremely relaxed when doing action sequences.

Mahesh’s movie is going to be a beautiful love story with nice action elements and my kind of entertainment. Mahesh has specifically told me not miss out on my signature entertainment/comedy. It is going to be a love story I am attempting after Anandam movie. It is going to be a visual poetry and it will be shot in North Indian locations like Ladakh.
